George Kovoor, Founding Partner at Ask GeKo Advisory

George Kovoor

Founding Partner

George has spent 34 years building multi-billion-dollar businesses across India, China, APAC, and PepsiCo's global headquarters in New York. Most recently, he led the turnaround of PepsiCo's India beverage business to sustained profitability, delivering share gains in 9 of 13 quarters and the category's strongest innovation performance in two decades with the brand Sting. Earlier, he was the architect of PepsiCo's China foods footprint, a foundation that has delivered fivefold growth since, and he crafted the company's first global Away From Home channel strategy, building enduring relationships with customers such as Disney, Yum Brands, Jubilant FoodWorks, Dubai Expo, and PVR Cinemas. His work has been recognised with multiple Don M. Kendall Business of the Year awards, PepsiCo's highest business honour, and a 2024 Cannes Lion Gold — the only Cannes Gold won by India's FMCG industry that year. A Harvard Business School AMP graduate and IICA-certified independent director, he now advises boards, investors, and founders — from Diageo India to Apax Private Equity — on growth, transformation, and governance, with AI woven through his practice.
